Own the rights?
I was fortunate enough to see this gem of a short at the AFI Film Festival last month and I gotta say they did a great job. A fantastic ensemble cast that enraptures you in the reality of the situation in Africa - the hand-held, documentary style of film-making adds to the gravity of the film. A genuine mix of visual style and camera work that doesn't overshadow the amazing performances by a shatteringly talented cast. This film goes to show that simplicity is not necessarily less, but more.I'm not going to explain the story like millions of others do in a futile attempt to pad their comments, but this is a film well-worth watching. I can't wait to see what this directing/producing team puts together in the way of a feature film.
