The team tries to lighten up around the town's annual roast as Coach Taylor has accepted the new job offer, but has yet to tell anyone outside his own family. Jason starts as a new assistant coach, and his first assignment is Matt. Lila's life falls apart when she storms out of her house when her parents announce they're splitting up and she catches Jason out with Susan. Tim's neighbor puts the brakes on their growing relationship for the sake of her son and he turns to Tyra, who's steamed about Landry undermining her confidence in him. The coach's wife makes a counter offer to his new job. Written by Moviedude1

Did You Know?

TMU is actually portrayed to be Texas State University is San Marcos, TX. Texas State is actually 30 miles south of Austin. This leads to some other changes made. The stadium is Bobcat Stadium on the Texas State campus. The stadium is made to look much bigger than it is - the endzone complex is only 2 levels, not 3; there are no seats in the corners of the stadium; the grandstands have only 2 levels, not the additional 3rd deck. All of these were added by computers by simply copying an existing level in. The Austin skyline is in the background - Austin is 30 miles away and actually in the other direction. See more »

When Mrs. Taylor is ending her speech at the roast, for a split second one of the female extras in the audience shows a very surprised facial expression, hanging her mouth wide open as if she has saw something funny/surprising. This is during a sentimental part of the speech (no jokes were being said during this part) so it didn't fit with the mood at all. See more »
