Popeye The Gym Instructor
31 March 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Popeye is in the gym business, either building muscles if you are "flat" or taking weight off if you are "fat." We first see him leading Olive and Wimpy (with the latter cheating).

Olive's muscles, wherever they are, get tied up in knots - even her nose! Neither she or Wimpy are too good at this. A chimerical is then filmed in the gym but, as Popeye is lifting a heavy weight, a butterfly comes in and lands on the barbell causing Popeye to drop it. It crashes through the floor and Bruto comes out of the hole and starts bashing Popeye.

He's knocked out cold, Olive goes flying off the flying horse and.....yes, you guessed it: a can of spinach has to save the day.

Overall, a fair cartoon, nothing noteworthy.
