A chaotic look at the world that is Slipknot. Onstage, backstage, and everywhere in between.
The two disc set itself is amazing, but the second disc far surpasses the first one as far as quality goes. The first disc in the set, titled 'Voliminal' is not very rewarding overall. Aside from Joey's drum solo, the entire rest of the DVD is just a huge set of clips. While some are entertaining, most of it is just random crap. We never even see or talk to members of the band. I'd give the first disc a 5. It's average, and actually has some pretty good clips, but its rather annoying to just jump from place to place.
The second disc is awesome, though, and makes up for the first disc entirely. It has interviews with all nine band members... expect, of course, Craig, or 133... the most mysterious of the band... some music videos, and concert videos. The interviews are stunning, and my favorite would have to be with Chris... or 'Long Nose Guy'... where we see him golfing, and unmasked. Corey's would have to be the most interesting, I'd say, simply because he seems like such an intelligent man. He's obviously gone through a lot, and you can see it in his face and the way he talks.
All in all, this two disc set is worth your $25, but if you want to see a concert DVD, you'd have to get Disasterpieces, for sure.
7/10.
