A Convict escapes prison with the help of a dying Doctor. When he arrives at the house of his 'saviour', the Convict is ushered in and fed a home cooked meal. The Doctor then reveals to the Convict the cost of his freedom. Appalled, the Convict tries to resist, but the Doctor is one step ahead. The meal was drugged. The Convict falls to the floor, unconscious. When he awakes, it is unlike any place the Convict has been before. At first he wonders if he is dead. But then the Doctor appears and reveals that they are, in fact, in the Convict's mind. The Doctor plans to 'kill' the Convict and steal this body as his own. With less than a few weeks to live, it is the Doctor's last chance at life. The Doctor merely has to convince the Convict that he has died in a past memory. User Reviews

Great affects. Not so great execution.

My girl friends and I are more of the comedy/drama types, but occasionally will check out a sci-fi or action flick. We recognized a few names on this one and managed to find it on the net. It's a good Idea that never developed in to the potential it could have. The story takes too many short cuts and never allows the characters to develop. Fast camera movements and quick edits don't save your plot!

It is very obvious that there are more than one cinematographers on the project as well... or at least several different types of camera's used. The sequence in the doctor's head where both of them are struggling to take control of the criminals body is great. Good cinematography and VFX. Even the acting seems to push the limits, at least as far this piece is concerned.

The director(s) need to focus on what they really want ultimately. Find a good cinematographer and stick with them. Consistency is very important. If acting is your love, then get out of the director's chair and find a good director to execute your vision.

We are looking forward to see what this team comes up with next.
