Narrator:Below you is the ass end of the world. The country you can see is the land known as New Zealand. It's a pretty simple place, really - the North Island - that's the good one - and the South Island, which sucks. Spanning these two imaginitively titles isles is a turbulence stretch of water known as the Cook Strait. It has been swam across and rode across, and thousands cross every day by ferry and plane. But only one man has ever tried to jump it. His name is Randy Cambell, and this is his story.

F****** Fantastic

This film is an example of classic Kiwi comedy. It embodies the true in-your-face, slapstick, and quite frankly brilliantly stupid humour of those two little islands in the pacific that wont let anyone tell them what to do.

Based around the premise of a young boys dream to become a daredevil stuntman this film is filled with in-jokes, sometimes slightly racist (against New Zealanders don't worry)slurs and a sense that the guys who made it had fun so who are you to judge its quality.

It may not have great acting or a well developed plot but if you sit back and take the film for what it is you cant go wrong.

I've watched it about 4 times and cried with laughter on each occasion although I understand that this might be hard for someone from outside New Zealand to achieve.
