Comedies from Korea, for me, have always seemed shrill and even bitter. It seems straight comedy is not allowed, you have to put people in the kind of situations where pain, anger & sadness also preside. This film is no exception, but it has an interesting premise. Two married ladies search for affairs and find them, both going to the same hotel, where they see each other but do not really meet until way into the story. Using the internet names "Tweetie" and "Dewdrop", they take their men to a room and in one case, the sex is raucous and the other frustrating. There is some slapstick here, especially when the husband of one of the ladies tries to catch her in the act, but there is also poignancy, intense unhappiness and frustration. Of the two ladies, I liked "Tweetie" (Jin-seo Yun) more, as she has a bit more of a moral compass. When she smiles, which isn't often, she looks next to beautiful. This film is not essential viewing, but if you are tuned into the comic style of Korean cinema, you will like it, it will keep your interest. I'd say give it a try.
