When Hiro is searching in Mr. Linderman's vault for the sword, it's listed as being in drawer CRM-114. "CRM 114" is an alphanumeric code used in many of the films of Stanley Kubrick. One of the films using that code was A Clockwork Orange (1971) (see trivia), which stars Malcolm McDowell - who also appears as Mr. Linderman in this series.

Halfway through the episode, we see Micah playing an actual Playstation 3 game, "Heavenly Sword", which at the time of airing was still in production and not scheduled for release until Fall 2007. The sequence shown was from the game's demo version, which wasn't released until several months after the episode aired on March 4th, 2007. This subtly suggests the whole story takes place at least a year in the future from when the show first started, possibly even further ahead depending on how long Micah has had the game by the time we see him play it.
