Storyline

Hilarious comedy highlighting, most amongst other issues, the class difference in parts of Iran, especially Tehran. The son of an old-fashioned 'Khan' falls in love with the daughter of the 'common' owner of the company he works for. They marry and the families meet with funny consequences. Side issues include the blatant advertising of products on the show, constant talk of how to save gas and oil, the speed of the pickpocket slave Heyfe Noon, the bickering between the narrator and Kamran, Mansoor's loss of memory, and the intense love/hate relationship between the two sister-in-laws. Written by Reza A

24 February 2009 | by (Islamic Republic of Iran) – See all my reviews

Yeah, this is another good job by Mehran Modiri, but there is no comparison between this work and his previous masterpiece Shabhaye Bararah. The characters are skillfully created and the actors are well chosen but the problem is that the poor stories don't take advantage of this high rate of potential. It could have been much more successful if the director Mehran Modiri had employed a group of script writers. The probable problem with the writers is that they are short of new ideas after writing for plenty of popular comedy series one after another. Let's put it together: Characters are sweet, actors are professional, director has done well, but the stories most of the time are poor that you would think you are watching some guys speaking to each other without any story behind.
