In the episode, Lloyd literally gets grounded for a month on his birthday, no less, just because he followed 'adult supervisors' who tried to teach him 'what it's like to be a man', with the disasters that followed all being Lloyd's fault.
While Nora is a good mom, her first appearance gives a different approach. She should have realized that, even if Lloyd wanted to be a man, was still a kid who got lead around on said schemes by supposed adult figures, aka Station, a robot SUPERVISOR, and her own FATHER. Station never should have took Lloyd to robot poker and should have been reprimanded for that, and the power plant station was literally an accident brought on by by her father and his friends pressuring Lloyd. While the police car might have been Lloyd's fault, Station and Grandpa Leo literally get off scot-free, and then to add insult to injury, Nora is ticked that Lloyd left his room to GO SAVE HIS SISTER. She's way better after that, but this is not her most proudest moment. She's commander, she should at LEAST be chewing off Station's robotic/non-existent ass for rousing her son up to begin with, but no.
