Storyline

Entertainment of all types are featured with remotes from Silver Springs, FL (glass bottom boats; an underwater cave; a band playing under water), New York City (the cast of the upcoming musical "Shangri-La" is seen rehearsing), Salt Lake City, UT (Children's Dance Theatre), Phoenix, AZ (Superstition Mountain; cowboy songs, games on horseback), Seattle, WA (Symphony Orchestra famous for family concerts), St. Louis, MO (High school bands on parade; Wagner's "Parisfal" in English), Hermosa Beach, CA (modern jazz) and a visit to a veteran's hospital where stars perform. The show concludes with an appearance by NBC President Robert W. Sarnoff who presses a button to inaugurate the "world's first completely-colorized television station" WNBQ (now WMAQ) in Chicago, IL.
