Storyline

Angus the fluffy cat retains its dignity even in a crazy Eastbourne family, unlike them. Eldest daughter Georgia is completely besotted with 'Stiff Dylans' band hottie Robbie, who just moved in from London and helps run an organic groceries shop with his brother Tom, whom her best friend Jas has the hots for. Peter Dyer calls Georgia his best ever kissing-course pupil, but she ignores him and later the brothers' other classmate Dave the Laugh. Robbie was considering to dump haughty Lindsay, but reconsiders given the immature brat's apparent cruelty. Thus manipulative Georgia keeps changing her mind about a grand birthday party and her father's career opportunities as engineer in New Zealand, while mother seems to flirt with hunky interior decorator Jem. Goofs

In the scene where Jas first eats lunch without the Ace Gang and instead with Tom, Robbie has an apple on his lunch tray. From the distance, you can see him move his drink out of the way, but not his apple. When it zooms back in, the apple has switched from being on one side of his plate to the other side. Then, when you next see the apple, it has moved even farther towards the end of the tray, without giving Robbie time to move it while being un-noticed. See more »

Let this delightful film touch your heart
30 July 2009 | by (Earth) – See all my reviews

This film is about a teenage girl facing problems with all aspects of her life, namely school, home and love.

The title "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging" made me lost as to what I should expect, but the director is a quality assurance so I watched it. "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging" is actually a heartwarming, touching and funny comedy about a girl growing up and discovering herself. It seems like a simple tale about a girl coming of age, but it is actually a touching tale about friendship, family and accepting oneself for who you are. The leads are played by unknown actors and actresses, but they are all perfectly natural in their roles. It feels like am really watching a teenage girl's life as a bystander, not a film. I am truly touched by the amazing ending. I enjoyed watching "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging" a lot. It deserves to be watched by a wider audience. Let it touch your heart.
