Storyline

Con artist Dinah arrives in Santa Ana, CA with her latest mark, a Colombian drug dealer, hot on her trail. She is surprised to find her ex-husband and former partner-in-crime Riley, who's done the unthinkable: he's gone straight, working as television producer John Reid on a local consumer affairs show. Masquerading as reporter Jennie Jerome, she unwillingly gets him involved in a plea for help from an heiress unjustly confined to a private mental hospital while trying to elude her own pursuers. Quotes

Dinah: Okay, what's the scam? Who's the mark? What's the payoff like?
Riley: There's no scam. There's no mark. I am a legitimate, law-abiding television producer, whose payoff is a paycheck which comes every week with my name on it.
Dinah: WHOSE name?
Riley: Oh, look who's talking: 'Jennie Jerome?'
Dinah: It was good enough for Winston Churchill's mother, it's good enough for me.
