  • A few episodes have very brief glimpses of topless women. Aside from that there are a couple of sexual references throughout.
  • A woman recalls being raped, but it is brief and off-screen.
  • In general though, the sexual content and nudity here is mild; most of it being in the OVA instead.

  • A man and woman of Chinese descent violently shoot down multiple henchmen. Nazi affiliators are violently shot down in one scene.
  • A character uses a giant chainsaw to dismember and dispose of corpses for criminal groups in Roanapur.
  • A villainous young boy is shot in the right knee with blood pouring from the wound after. He tries to retaliate, but the upper part of his left arm is shot off and he lies bleeding afterwards.
  • A sympathetic yakuza is violently shot in the stomach before being shot dead. A villain's hands are cut off by a katana, he is then drowned in the pool.
  • A villainous young girl is shot in the head, bloodying it. Some blood streams down her face before she falls dead.
  • The sound effects in the dub aren't quite as violent as in the Japanese audio.

Profanity

  • In the English version, strong language such as fuck, shit, bitch, bastard, asshole, motherfucker, damn, goddamn etc. is commonly used. Rare uses of cock, cocksucker and cunt.
  • There are 259 uses of the word Fuck in the English dub.
  • Profanity is much more sparing in the subtitled version, with notably infrequent uses of 'bitch' and 'shit'.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There are a few scenes of alcohol consumption, mostly at a bar. Smoking is present throughout.
  • A side-character constantly smoked marijuana. Later we find out he had a mental breakdown and now lives in a mental asylum
  • There are a few references to drug cartels and real world alcoholic beverages.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Violence often occurs jarringly, with psychopaths posing a presence in the series.
  • Violent acts are referenced throughout and a few of the characters are emotionally damaged due to their involvement in them.
  • Suggested rating: R for strong bloody violence, pervasive language, some drug content, and brief nudity.
  • TV-MA L (or LV for some episodes), although one episode is TV-14.
