GOD DAMN IT, I'M GOING TO HAVE A BABY!

This Oscar winning film deserved all the accolades especially since it competed against "The Godfather." Oscars went to Joel Grey, Liza Minnelli and Bob Fosse. Cabaret was my first musical film that wasn't a Rodgers-Hammerstein nor Disneye film. The film adaptation dropped the Fraulein Schneider love story with a Jewish marketer unlike in the play. The movie focused on Sally Bowles and Brian Roberts' relationship as two lodgers in a Berlin lodging house. Liza deserved that Oscar and nobody could ever succeed in playing Sally Bowles as well. Joel Grey was perfection as the master of ceremonies. The eighteen minutes isn't enough to celebrate this work of art.
