The War at Home wasn't exactly a laugh riot, put occasionally it pulled an above the average, good episode. While this is still a great distance from a great episode, it is better than a typical sitcom episode. I'll avoid spoilers although the title of the episode is a major spoiler in itself - talk about stupid naming!
If you see this episode, watch out for these (they aren't spoilers because you can't tell the context unless you see the episode):
"Eurgh." (hard to transcribe the sound) - "The Gaymaker" - "I'll meet you upstairs." - "This is the most uncomfortable moment of my entire life." - "Nah." - "See, I was right." - "B-b-b-b-rrr." (again, hard to transcribe the sound)
These also show the show's greatest asset. The rest of the assets - not so great. Probably why the show didn't last more than two seasons.
