Crazy Credits
The events, characters, and firms depicted in this photoplay are fictitious. Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Unless you're a 50 foot robot. And only then will we freak out. See more »
This was deliberately made to be totally ridiculous and lousy crap.
At least you will get a few laughs, but be sure not to waste your time watching all the talk scenes...just FORWARD through most of the movie and enjoy the crumbs of nothingness that somehow made me laugh.
The Very First Clue was the title: TRANSMORPHERS .... not TRANSFORMERS! I am seriously contemplating doing a movie with the title: TRANSSMURFERS! NOT! Doubt the owners of The Smurfs would let me.
If you do not pay close attention you would easily fail to see the spelling difference! Also, beware of the flashing scenes: I almost got convulsions! The second clue was when the intro says that we discovered a planet with life over 20 million light years away! Any adult with the even the most rudimentary science education should know that our own Milky Way Galaxy is only roughly 100,000 Light Years across (diameter)! And the furthest detectable planets are well within 100 Light Years distance.
As for the acting: what acting?!? I cannot for the life of me imagine that the thespians in this movie were not aware of the impossibility of accidentally making such a lousy, everything-did-go-wrong (-NOT!) movie! I've seen Trekkies make better stuff on a budget of less than $500.
