Trailer for Zak Forsman's stunning Heart Of Now

30 December 2008 12:59 PM, PST | QuietEarth.us | See recent QuietEarth news »

We've seen two pieces of footage for Zak Forsman's highly anticipated Heart of Now, the most recent being a lengthy teaser and everything we've seen indicates this will be a contemplative and visionary winner.. And this trailer only pushes that bar higher. We've been promised a screener when it's done and I can't wait.

The story concerns a young woman (Marion Kerr) with a profound longing for a sense of family. Devastated by her boyfriend’s sudden withdrawal from their relationship, Amber’s circumstance thrusts her back into the presence of the father-figure (Kelly McCracken) that abandoned her and her dying mother nearly a decade ago. Amber confronts the deeper issues at the very heart of her suffering, and finds transcendence in a brief moment at the very heart of now.

Trailer after the break, complete with 2 quotes from yours truly.

Teaser for Zak Forsman's stunning Heart Of Now

We reported on this stunning looking drama back in March and I've been dying to see it ever since. Still in post, the film is about halfway done and checking up on it I discovered some new footage. The first half is about the same as they used before, but all of it is still brilliant nonetheless. "The story concerns a young woman (Marion Kerr) with a profound longing for a sense of family.
