Lord of the Rings: The Missing Chapter!
6 January 2013 | by See all my reviews

or Superfriends meet Lord of the Rings.

Little trolls are forced to work for the evil wizard, Mal Havok, which reveals Zan and Jayna have been transformed into trolls themselves, as eventually befalls the rest of the Superfriends.

Aided by the troll king, Balderscam, some of the Superfriends seek an escape by retrieving a RING guarded by a DRAGON and it has to be placed upon another statue's finger. Go figure.

On their journey, they encounter villainous SPIDERS and must be rescued by snails. Yes, snails. That 'battle' between the snails and the spiders, you got to see to believe.

I think Superfriends as trolls was always what puzzled me about this episode.

Without a doubt, the most brilliant moment, however, was the little rat spy called Gorka or something, as he informs Mal Havoc in his raspy whisper, Gorka has seen the strange ones escape the man-eating cave and the spider creatures. They are nearing the cave and the magic ring of Dandor.

There's some dialogue for you.
