Sex & Nudity

  • A man receives a hand job from his wife under the covers, the scene lasts about 2 to 3 minutes. No nudity is shown.
  • Some minor sex refrences throughout.
  • A man mentions how he heard another man was "sticking it to some neighbourly lady"
  • One extremely brief sex scene, no thrusting or anything seen, it's under covers. Lots of loud moaning and heavy breathing.
  • Some strong sexual content.
  • A woman's breasts are shown as she throws Jesse's things out of a window. When this episode is on television, however, they're censored and she's wearing a red bra. However the uncensored episode is the more accessible version of this episode.
  • In one of the last scenes, Walt has sex with Skyler from behind. Moaning, but no nudity. Fairly short scene.

Violence & Gore

  • Walt pushes a young man over and keeps his foot on his ankle so he can't get up and walk after witnessing the young man and his friends make fun of Walt Jr
  • A man is put to the floor and arrested during a drug raid.
  • A man faints and is taken to hospital.
  • A man creates a chemical reaction inside an RV that kills the two men inside (they simply fall over).
  • A man trips and falls, smashing his head on a rock. His eye is seen incredibly swollen and some blood can be seen on the side of his forehead later.

Profanity

  • Only episode to contain a lot of strong language. The rest of the season has about 1-3 uses of "fuck" per ep and season 2 onward use the word extremely infrequently. Also offensive words such as "faggot" are never heard in the show again outside of this episode.
  • 4 uses of "fuck," 14 uses of "shit," and one use each of "faggot," "prick," "bastard," and "dick." Two middle fingers.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Frequent references to drugs throughout the entire episode.
  • A man attempts to try meth he just helped cook but is stopped.
  • Meth is seen multiple times.
  • A few instances of meth being snorted.
  • Two men cook crystal meth.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Characters are held at gun point and even shot at briefly at one point.
  • Rated TV-MA for some strong sexuality, nudity, language and pervasive drug content.
  • The whole episode has a very depressing atmosphere.
  • Main characters in peril (as with almost all episodes of this show).
