Wish my holiday in Spain had been like this
4 January 2010 | by (Denmark) – See all my reviews

Benidom is a series that is absolutely not political correct. Even though the characters in this is a bit of a parody of Spanish and British people it does indeed hit most of humankind right between the eyes. People in this series does not behave like the brightest minds on earth. But if we are honest how often do we experience that in the real world? You will laugh with and of this lucky bunch that is on a All inclusive Hotel in Spain.

Season 1 is alright fun but not the most funny thing I have seen. Season 1 and 2 the episodes were approximately 20 minutes each. This length made they were tight and fun and no waste time. Very good length for comedy shows.

Season 2 I thought oh no the same guests as in season 1, this cannot end good. But in fact season 2 is a highlight of the series and it will give you a lot of laughs if you have any sense of humor.

Season 3 they make the fault and goes to 45 minutes episodes. definitely a big mistakes. the first 4 episodes was a bore to get through. they would have been brilliant if kept tight on the 20 minutes but half time dragging out time in a comedy kills it. Last 2 episodes though re win a bit of the lost as they are extremely funny, especially last episode is a gem, they were kept tight enough even though they were 45 minutes.
