Dear Mr. Landis,

You have directed at least three of my favorite comedies of all time. Its been awhile though buddy. I know you're a smart guy, so what's the deal? Nothing very good since Coming to America. But, come on, Animal House, The Blues Brothers, Trading Places! That's all just great stuff. I even love Spies Like Us! (Trust me, there aren't many films I would allow to contribute to the continual 4:3 burn in on my HDTV- and Spies Like us only ever on HBO Family). And I know Eddie Murphy disappointed all of us, and has sold his soul, to, whoever, but that doesn't mean there is nothing to put out there. What about Dave Chapelle? I know you two would probably hit it off! What about David Cross? These guys are brilliant. And unlike Eddie Murphy, they care about the footprints they leave behind. If you just hung out with these dudes, for like a couple of days, I know you could scrounge up another classic. Of course ya'll can live your life however you want, but I hate seeing great talent just going to waste. With a little luck, Obama will be our next president, and this whole country will be ready for some serious healing. You could be a part of that healing process. Get together with these and other great talents and get 'er done! But what do I know, I'm just a fan ;-)
