"How to Be a Genie in 10 Easy Lessons" finds Tony insistent on Jeannie learning how to behave like a proper genie, finding a book titled "Tales of the Arabian Nights" as a guide. Jeannie is reluctant to duplicate what the genies do in this particular volume, as the wicked Blue Djinn outlines '10 ingenious tortures' to perform on their unsuspecting masters. Roger's no help to either Tony or Jeannie, as he desires a genie for himself and tries to convince both that the other has gone crazy. Once they realize what kind of book it really is, Roger receives a fitting comeuppance. Tony is the one who learns a lesson, in not trying to change someone that he really cares for.

Stupid Nelson

Tony the astronaut has never been more sure of anything in his life when he tells Jeannie to behave like the genies in a book he's never read. Brilliant. Then he can't figure out why she's been doing the things she's been doing.
As much as I like this episode, Major Nelson was arguably never more stupid.
