Generic porn packaged as "art"
lor_19 November 2016
Artcore or other forms of pretentious porn are usually distant relatives of Underground filmmaking, the form I grew up with in the '60s and which is still interesting to watch in retrospect. This loser backed by the pretentious Eon McKai turns out to be 100% interviews and boring humping, devoid of any semblance of artistry or content.

The pornographer credited as "Vera Virago" was a flop, gone from the scene as is McKai. Watching this junk a decade later shows why -there's nothing to distinguish it from a hundred thousand other mediocre videos, not "so bad it's (fill in the blank)" but just generic, porn reduced to a commodity.

So we have mainly name porn talent like Dana DeArmond and Tyler Knight giving brief interview self-assessments, which are merely the sort of b.s. one usually sees on a BTS short subject. Then they hump two by two, with Knight accorded a second helping of mixed-combo action. For punk fans we get the ugly Michelle Aston with her Mohawk haircut putting the lesbian moves on untalented Page Morgan.

As usual with garbage like this to market, Vivid Entertainment under its short-lived Vivid.alt subsidiary, delivers fancy packaging plus a second DVD with lousy feature length BTS and an amateur, pointless short video about an untalented magician, plus a CD containing less than 15 minutes of lousy music. Thanks guys - I don't bemoan the fate of Vivid a decade later, the once-mighty label barely on life support.
