Did You Know?

Carla asks Dr. Cox if he's ever been followed by the memory of a loved one, like a ghost. Dr. Cox says no, because "I'm a sane person." However, in "My Screwup" (3.14), he is followed by the memory of Ben Sullivan, his ex-wife Jordan's brother and his close friend. See more »

Nurse Carla Espinosa: Wow, I'm still not ready to do this... it's going to be so weird not having you by my side every day. Making fun of the other doctors, going on and on about Jesus... man, I hope he's real or you're gonna be pissed!
[Laverne's 'ghost' smiles sadly]
Nurse Carla Espinosa: Remember my first day? When that patient came in and started bleeding out on me? I was so shocked I could barely move. But you stood by my side, and you guided me through it. And then you did the most amazing thing of all... you made me laugh.

I actually cried
6 April 2008 | by (Netherlands) – See all my reviews

I loved this episode! I really did cry.. She was great! Beautiful... I also love the symbolism! New life, someone passing..

I just don't get this reason Laverne.. I don't..

And another bit of symbolism, just like Turk said: Maybe you have to say goodbye!

And Carla did have to do that, because you always have to say goodbye to the people you love and care about!

I really do think this is one of the best episodes. Of course Scrubs is great and awesome in every way, but I liked that for example Perry showed his real emotion and wasn't the sarcastic bastard he always is. I like it when he is serious about things

p.s. I love that Jordan called her baby Jennifer Dylan :P
