The best episode of Series 4.
17 October 2015 | by (Swansea, United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Miss Lupin is in a very terrified state, a quivering wreck, Cissie put a hot water bottle in Flora's bed and forgot to put the stopper in, worse Cissie forgot Flora's kippers. A divide appears, and war is declared, Mildred and Dolly have finally had enough of Flora branding her a bully, and they've taken Cissie. Flora turns up on the doorstep, with a bandaged head, she's lost her memory. She's walked into a lamp post and spent 6 hours in casualty, she's behaving very erratically, being sweet and kind to everyone, Mildred is not buying it though. Her memory slowly starts returning.

Series 3 had been brilliant, but by the forth outing it had begun to feel a little tired, they were trying gimmicks and guests to liven the show up, but it had forgotten what made it so good, this episode got it back on track, Flora was back to being the house battle axe.

Favrourite quote from Dolly, 'Who'd you rather live with Little Mary Sunshine or Count Dracula?' The one liners were getting better as the series went on.

Both Peggy and Pat are ultra funny in this episode, a true return to form. Cissie finally gets to boss Flora about. Genuinely funny. 9/10
