Storyline

Lord Bellamy entrusts Thomas with selling his Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, an opportunity to make a profit for the mechanic. He is able to interest the prosperous Sid Politzer, a pub patron with an interest in Sara who is now a barmaid there, in buying it, but Politzer and his brother are also interested in his services as a chauffeur to drive an aristocratic couple on the continent. Through Madge, Sara discovers that the Politzers are using the car and THomas to transport stolen jewelry to the continent, but can she intercede before THomas falls afoul of the law? The Bellamy's Rolls Royce turns up at Thomas's Garage!
3 August 2010 | by See all my reviews

JULY, 1910 Thomas and Sarah are back on hard times living with 'Madge' and their useless employee at their Garage 'Tubby'.

Sarah has left Mrs. Laughton's service and has returned home with Thomas on the understanding that he will finally marry her. Sarah was not best pleased when it was discovered after she'd left that he was not made to promise Mrs. Laugton 'when' he would wed her! The Bellamy's Rolls Royce turns up at Thomas' Garage for cleaning and things start looking up for the pair, but this leads to more than they bargained for...

Thomas and Sarah become caught up in 'smuggling' and end up doing a 'runner' - but manage to retain the Bellamy's car!
