Thomas and Sarah become brother and sister running a Dating Agency!
8 August 2010 | by See all my reviews

October 1910 One of the very best (if somewhat humorous) of episodes from the 'Thomas and Sarah' series.

Thomas and Sarah set up what would be termed in modern language as a 'Dating Agency'. They do this as brother and sister; Thomas is Welsh - Sarah Scottish!! When asked abut their different accents by a client, Sarah explains they went to different schools! They use a house for their new business they are temporarily caretakers for. Unfortunately, they are so successful, it all gets out of hand... Before they can find new premises, they are 'discovered' and have to make a run for it! In typical 'Thomas and Sarah' style; they manage to leave the money they've made behind...

This episode stars the much-loved Thora Hird in an hilarious role as an overbearing mother.
