Storyline

Ross returns from France for the birth of his daughter Cowance and, whilst the Warleggans are away, tries to persuade Aunt Agatha to move to Namparra but she plans to have her hundredth birthday party first. Morwenna is introduced to the Reverend Whitworth, whom Warleggan bribes and bullies into proposing marriage to her. Drake finds out from Geoffrey and is seen secretly meeting Morwenna, who is resigned to her fate.Geoffrey has given Drake a bible as a present and Warleggan uses this to frame the young man for theft. Ross, however, coerces him into dropping charges on pain of exposing Morwenna's affair, which would harm the marriage of convenience. He then prepares with the party of French Royalists to sail to France and rescue Dwight and the other prisoners. Written by don @ minifie-1
