Michelle Banda was only two and a half years old when the film was shot. A child-size toy doll was used as her body double in order to be strapped to Justin Strydom's back and for various other stunts. See more »
I saw this film flipping through the television and the visuals caught my eye. The colors of the locations were so vibrant. Then I began watching and the then story grabbed me as well. It's amazingly shot and well cast with a natural feel to it. It has a serious tone but was also very comical at the same time. The music was very enjoyable and energetic and the whole thing has a good amount of soul. In addition, I appreciated the lessons that the film tried to convey. The message says something everyone could relate to. I really liked the scene near the end with the local man at the airport. I would say it's worth watching and I'd love to find a copy of it one day. Well done!
