It’s almost hard to believe it’s been five years since The Life and Times of Tim aired on HBO.  I remember when the show was canceled and people online were clamoring to try and raise money to get it back.  At that time crowdfunding wasn’t nearly as popular as it is now.   But my theory is that if Rufio can get his own short movie, then why can’t Steve Dildarian get Life and Times of Tim back on the air? Amazon released five new pilots on Friday, and it’s up to viewers to determine which ones get picked up. “The Legend of Master Legend,” “Budding Prospects,” “The New V.I.P.’s,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Oasis” make up the 2017 Amazon pilot season. Some are good, some are bad, but the power lies with all of us to determine which are worthy of a full season order. Read our reviews below to get a little insight into each offering, and watch the episodes for yourself right here.

The Legend of Master Legend

John Hawkes can’t catch a break. When he nabbed the lead in Charlie Kaufman’s FX pilot — Charlie Kaufman — it didn’t get picked up. He landed an Oscar nomination for “The Sessions,” but his follow-ups have meant diddly-squat comparatively. Sure, he stole a few scenes in “Lincoln” and got to take part in Amy Schumer’s amazing sketch, »

The Magic School Bus Is Coming Back!

4 January 2017 11:38 AM, PST | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Well, we can all thank Netflix aka The Pet Sematary again. Ms. Frizzle and the gang will make a return to television thanks to the streaming giant. The Magic Schoolbus 360 will deliver 26 half hour CGI episodes, which will air in the Fall of 201. And, there are celebrity cameos to look forward to. Don't worry, some original cast members signed on to return as well. It's hard to believe the original television show only aired for four seasons, back in 1994.

Can you stand the wait? Well, let's hope the show has more moments like the clip below... And, it could be pretty educational too. The reboot will be headed by 9 Story Media Group, Scholastic, and Netflix jointly. Someone get them to bring back The Life and Times of Tim (search YouTube).
