This documentary was on TCT today, and I just watched it with my mouth open, not believing the amount of holes this so-called "documentary" on American History contains. What I "learned:" - Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin, two deists (NOT Christians) were not nearly as much of an impact as Founding Fathers that Noah Webster was. Webster wrote a dictionary and a reader. Oh yeah, he was also an ardent Christian. That probably helped cement his place in here.
- The Civil War (excuse me, War of Northern Aggression) wouldn't have happened if that upstart Lincoln had just let the Southerners live in peace and keep their slaves.
- Previously-villifed Lincoln is now a saint since he was shot.
- Nothing happened in the 1910s-1920s except for a few seconds of World War I and the imminent world takeover by Margaret Sanger's Planned Parenthood and the evil communist-backed ACLU.
- Franklin Roosevelt was the worst president in the history of America.
- World War II was between the Japanese and Americans. No Germans, no Hitler, no Holocaust, no REST OF WORLD.
- Korean War? Never happened.
- Previously-villifed, hip-gyrating Elvis is corrupting our nation's youth. Wait, he joined the Army? Then he's A-OK!
- Space shuttles, which weren't even used until the 1980s and can only orbit the globe, apparently took man to the moon in the 1960s.
- Vietnam War? Never happened.
- Anything that happened in the entire nation from the 1970s-1990s that wasn't related to the evils of homosexuality, oppression of Christianity, the ACLU, and abortion? Never happened.
- Ronald Reagan, who was barely mentioned in the documentary itself, is Jesus. The end.
