Trivia

The central musical motif of this episode - "Pleni Sunt Coeli" - comes from the so-called "Sparrows Mass" of the Missa brevis No. 8 in C Major KV 257. This catchy melody is enthusiastically performed by the "Silent Sisters" as Amadeus himself conducts them. Not even Devilius, represented by his personal theme, the "Phantasie für eine Orgelwalze" in F Minor KV 608, can prevent the success that the concert enjoys with the Prince Archbishop. See more »
