Rey wins with a springboard huricarana. They didn't get that much time, but it delivered. Both did some really cool high-flying stuff.
Arn Anderson is out with Gene Okerlund. Anderson says Uncensored was historic because Sting came home to WCW. He says his neck is in really bad shape and he needs surgery. He's been putting it off because the Horsemen needed him. He said the Four Horsemen worked very well together at Uncensored. He says when you get an operation, you don't know if you'll wake up or what you're gonna be when you wake up. He says Kevin Sullivan's kid told Sullivan he was dead to him. He wants to wipe the slate clean with Kevin Sullivan. Arn promises the world that he will be back.
DDP Vs Maxx
DDP wins easily with a Diamond Cutter. DDP calls Elizabeth a bimbo and says Randy Savage is a dead man walking. Randy Savage appears in the crowd. Savage says he's an icon and DDP is the wrestler with no name. Randy says he can give DDP a match now if he wants it. Savage then says it'll be later. DDP says he wants the match now and hops the barricade to chase after Savage.
Hugh Morrus & Konnan (W/Jimmy Hart) Vs Joe Gomez & The Renegade
Eric Bischoff comes out with Kevin Nash & Scott Hall. Bischoff says Hall and Nash are gonna wrestle tonight. Morrus and Konnan win after Morrus pins Gomez with a moonsault from the top. I must admit that I was only paying half-attention to this match.
United States Championship
Dean Malenko (C) Vs Scotty Riggs
Malenko beats Riggs to retain the title in a competitive match.
Lex Luger & The Giant Vs Knuckles Nelson & Tarantula
The Giant and Luger dominate the match. Both The Giant and Lex Luger looked like they were enjoying themselves here. Luger and The Giant are both happy that Sting is back home in WCW.
The Ultimo Dragon Vs Bobby Eaton
The Dragon wins very quickly with a frankensteiner from the top. I feel bad for Bobby Eaton. The guy is a very talented worker and he deserved more than jobber status.
The nWo is out. Hollywood Hogan brags about the nWo's win at Uncensored and says they are gonna rule the wrestling world for all eternity. Randy Savage says he'll face DDP. The Outsiders announce they'll face The Steiner's at Spring Stampede. Somebody throws a drink right on the top of Scott Hall's head. Scott Hall just slicks his hair back. That was pretty damn smooth, Scott! Pretty damn smooth.
Your hosts are Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay & Bobby Heenan
Jeff Jarrett & Steve McMichael (W/Debra) Vs Alex Wright & Mark Starr
Jarrett and McMichael win after Jarrett makes Starr submit with the Figure Four. Public Enemy comes out and brawls with Jarrett and McMichael after the match. Jarrett and McMichael also have an interview after the match.
Scott Norton Vs Chavo Guerrero Jr.
Norton wins with a powerbomb. This isn't really worth recapping.
The Outsiders Vs Mike Enos & Bunkhouse Buck
Hall & Nash sing Bad Boys before the match. It's pretty funny. The Outsiders win. Enos and Buck got in more offense than you may expect.
Chris Beniot (W/Woman) Vs Billy Kidman
Beniot wins by submission with the Crippler Crossface. This was complete domination from Beniot. I wish these guys got some time to wrestle. It could have been a great match.
Ric Flair comes out for an interview. Beniot says there was a different Arn Anderson tonight. He saw fear in Anderson's eyes. He believes Arn Anderson will be back. Beniot says he is taking everything away from Kevin Sullivan. Roddy Piper was wanting to know where Ric Flair was at Uncensored. Flair says he was in Savannah, partying with the girls. Flair says Roddy Piper dropped the ball at Uncensored/ Flair mocks Piper for wanting to go home to his family in typical Flair fashion.
The Steiner Brothers Vs Harlem Heat (W/Sister Sherri)
The match ends in a no-contest after the nWo interferes. Lex Luger, The Giant, and eventually Sting all come out to help The Steiner's and Harlem Heat. The match was OK. The ending was pretty damn awesome.
This episode is OK. There were far too many squash matches, but overall it was a watchable show.
