Dean Malenko Vs Eddie Guerrero

Malenko wins by countout after Syxx runs down and distracts Guerrero by trying to steal Eddie's belt. Why would you mess around with a finish with a match of this magnitude? This was so disappointing because of that idiotic finish.

*1/2

Diamond Dallas Paige comes out in street clothes with a chair. DDP says he's got a bullseye on his back. He's never been the smartest guy and this may be one of the stupidest things he's done. He says he's tired of running. He says if something's gonna happen, he wants it to happen now. Sting & The Macho Man come down to the ring. Sting and The Macho Man harass DDP and force him to get off the chair. Sting acts like he's gonna attack DDP, but stops. Sting hands DDP the bat and turns around to see if DDP will hit him. DDP doesn't try anything. Sting and Savage just leave. DDP follows in pursuit.

Konnan Vs Bobby Eaton

Konnan wins very quickly with a cradle DDT.

Lex Luger vs Ron Powers. Luger comes out wearing a cast on his arm. Eric Bischoff comes out and prevents Luger from going to the ring. Bischoff says Luger can't wrestle tonight. Luger objects and says Bischoff can't stop him. Bischoff says if Luger doesn't have a release form to wrestle from his doctor, Luger won't be able to wrestle at Superbrawl either. If Luger tries to wrestle tonight, he's fired. Bischoff continues to babble until The Giant comes out and orders Bischoff to the back.

The Giant Vs Ron Powers.

The Giant wins easily with a chokeslam. Mike Tenay questions how The Giant can contend with The Outsiders alone if Lex Luger can't compete. The Giant says he's not an ordinary man, he's a giant. The Giant says he has a partner, and that's Lex Luger. He says Lex has the heart and intensity that other superstars don't. He says he has one question for Luger. Lex Luger comes storming out. The Giant asks Luger if he had a chance to go for the tag titles, would he let anything stop him? Luger says nothing would stop him. The Giant says at Superbrawl, he and Luger are gonna win the tag team titles.

DUD

The Steiner Brothers Vs High Voltage

The Steiner's win. This was actually somewhat decent for the time that it got. If the WCW actually took High Voltage seriously, this could have been really good if it went 10 to 15 minutes.

*1/2

Eric Bischoff, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash & Syxx take over the announcer's table. Referee, Randy Anderson comes out with his wife and kids. A couple of weeks ago, Bischoff fired him. He asks Bischoff for his job back. Bischoff calls his two kids up and says "his daddy is still fired" Bischoff ends up reconsidering and asks Anderson to wrestle Nick Patrick next week. Randy Anderson accepts. This was very distasteful. Sometimes, wrestling goes too far.

Tag Team Championship

The Outsiders (C) Vs The Extreme

The Outsiders dominate The Extreme in very quick fashion. The Outsiders unleash a bevy of insults towards The Giant after the match.

DUD

Television Championship

Lord Steven Regal (C) Vs Rey Mysterio Jr.

They wrestle to a 10 minute time-limit draw. Curse the television time limit! This was starting to get really good before it ended. It started off a little slow, but picked up after a while.

**1/2

Kevin Sullivan (W/Jacqueline & Jimmy Hart) Vs Maverick Wild

Sullivan wins with a double foot stomp. The highlight of this match is Jacqueline kicking the crap out of Maverick Wild.

1/4*

Hugh Morrus Vs Alex Wright

Morrus wins with a moonsault from the top. This match was a bit sloppy. It didn't really get enough time either.

*1/4

Chris Beniot & Steve McMichael (W/Debra & Woman) Vs Jeff Jarrett & Chavo Guerrero Jr.

McMichael wins after pinning Chavo with a tombstone. During the match, Debra looks more concerned with Jarrett than her husband McMichael. Once again, this was TOO SHORT!

*1/2

The Four Horsemen are seemingly back together as a unit. They all cut promos. The highlight is Steve McMichael chastising Debra for being too concerned over Jeff Jarrett.

Roddy Piper is out next for an interview. Hulk Hogan is also there, via satellite. Piper says Bischoff humiliating Randy Anderson in front of his kids is too much. He also chastises Hogan for being there by satellite. He says he made a promise to his son Colton that he was gonna give up wrestling because he missed his kids growing up. He asks if Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan are married. He says he apologized to Colton for what he's gonna do. Hogan says to tell it to somebody who cares. Piper tells Hogan to shut up. He says he has a licence to kill and Hogan's the target. Hogan calls Piper pathetic and says Piper lied by showing doctored footage of Piper trying to beat Hogan. Hogan says he doesn't have time to drop his schedule. He has multi million dollar movie contracts. He says WCW shouldn't let cowards like Piper hide behind their 6 kids. Piper tells Hogan to shut his big fat mouth. Piper says he's the real icon. He says in the OJ Simpson trial, some say he was guilty, some say he isn't. At Superbrawl, they're gonna say Piper is guilty, and Hogan is finished. Hogan says Piper is out of line.

There were far too many short matches in this one. Overall though, this episode is a watchable one. It has nothing truly outstanding about it, but it does enough to keep your attention.
