Live from Philadelphia, PA

Chris Benoit Vs Scotty Riggs (W/Raven's Flock)

Benoit wins by submission. The crowd was hot for everything Benoit did. Smart way to start the show. Not a great match, but it got the crowd energized.

*3/4 out of 5

Out come Eric Bischoff and Hollywood Hogan

Hogan says people worship the ground he walks on and Macho Man is a piece of crap. He says it's a joke that Savage is National Lampoon's man of the year and he couldn't even keep his marriage together. Oh, sh***! Hogan's shooting. He says Macho couldn't get on any of the big time TV shows, they put him on much later. He says Savage forgot then when you're nWo, you're nWo 4 life. He gave Savage rope and he hung himself.

Juventud Guerrera Vs Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Juventud wins with the 450 splash. A very uneventful match between these two. I was never a big Chavo Guerrero fan.

*1/2 out of 5

Psychosis Vs Prince Iaukea

No effort tonight at all, I see? Iaukea wins after one of the botchiest finishes I've ever seen in my life. It looked god awful. Botchmania city and the match itself wasn't that better. Iaukea's on and off push since 1996 continues, despite that he gets barely any reaction.

*1/4 out of 5

Disco Inferno Vs Raven

Ravens wins rather easily with the eveflow DDT. Disco's push is sadly over. Decent for what it was.

*3/4 out of 5

Philadelphia Street Fight

Public Enemy Vs The Barbarian & Hugh Morrus

UGH...another match I don't give a damn about. Public Enemy wins. Crowd booed. Even they didn't care.

3/4* out of 5

Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth come out with a contract in hand. He says Hogan is pathetic. Savage says the only dark cloud that hovers him is that he's been carrying Hogan for many years. He says for one night only, he will team with Sting. He says Sting will do business Macho's way. Sting has other things in my mind and out he comes. Sting mocks Scott Hall. Survey says, Scott Hall is dead. He says he can only do business his way, oh yeah.

Goldberg Vs Sickboy

Goldberg destroys Sickboy. It's a typical Goldberg squash. Next.

DDP comes out for an interview. He says Raven is a crybaby that doesn't wanna be responsible for his actions. He says Raven is getting banged on Thunder. Raven vs DDP for the United States Title.

DDP Vs Van Hammer

DDP has the match won, but Raven interferes. Benoit makes the save. DDP accidentally hits Benoit, and they brawl until they focus on Raven again. Cool.

3/4* out of 5

Bret Hart says the nWo are liars, cheaters, and bullies. He says he came to WCW to tear the nWo down, brick by brick and he came to WCW to make a difference. Bret says he's better than Curt and his dad couldn't beat his dad.

The British Bulldog Vs Scott Norton

It ends in a double DQ, which means...FEUD. Lovely.

DUD

Konnan says Juventud Guerrera is a punk and pathetic for losing his mask. He's no longer rasa. Whatever.

Konnan Vs Super Calo

Konnan is extremely overrated. Konnan wins and tries to take of Calo's mask, but Juventud Guerrera makes the save. He issues a challenge to Konnan for a match at Uncensored. Konnan accepts.

Ric Flair comes out for an interview. He says he thought he'd never see the day where he'd hope for Bret Hart. Curt Hennig interrupts. He says he can kick Flair's ass anytime he wants and he's dumber than he looks if he thinks Bret will help. Hennig and Flair go at it in a brawl. Rude interrupts as he and Hennig attack Flair. Perfect pins Flair with the Perfect Plex as Rude counts the three. Bret Hart makes the save.

Scott Steiner Vs 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan

For once, I'm hoping for Scottie. That's how much I hate Duggan. Steiner wins with the Steiner Recliner. Terrible, as to be expected.

* out of 5

Booker T & Dean Malenko Vs Chris Jericho & Eddie Guerrero

4 GOATS in one match. Malenko and Booker win in a very disappointing match. Too short and surprisingly mediocre.

*1/2 out of 5

Scott Steiner claims Rick Steiner is gonna be inducted into the nWo. Rick acts like he's gonna join the nWo, but throws the t-shirt in Nash's face and attacks the nWo. The numbers game catches up to him. The Giant makes the save and powerbombs Nash to a huge pop. The Giant is supposed to be taken away in handcuffs, but the cuffs aren't big enough. HA!

Bret Hart Vs Brian Adams

Bret has the match won, but Hennig interferes. I wasn't too into this match. With all due respect, Adams was terrible. Not even Bret could make this one watchable. Hennig and Bret brawl after the match.

* out of 5

'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan & Scott Hall Vs Sting & 'Macho Man' Randy Savage

The match ends in a no-contest after the nWo interferes. DDP and The Giant make the save. The crowd was shockingly dead for this, but they may have been tired from the three hours. Cool to see Savage and Sting team up.

*1/2 out of 5

This episode was alright, I guess. It had some cool moments, but also moments where it dragged.

5.5/10
