Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff & Randy Savage (With a neckbrace on) start the show. Eric Bischoff chastises Roddy Piper for the treatment of Randy Savage. Hogan promises to get revenge on DDP for Savage. Hogan says Piper hasn't souled out arenas or put wrestling on the map like Hogan. He says he's gonna get his belt back from Piper and beat up DDP.
Eddie Guerrero (C) Vs Psychosis
Eddie wins with the frogsplash. Eh, this was kinda repetitive and disappointing. I expected a lot more from these two. It just felt off.

We get a look at some of the history of Lucha Libre. Starts like Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, La Parka, Silver King, and Psychosis have comments.
Roddy Piper is out next for an interview. Piper tells Bischoff he's the boss. Piper says Hogan doesn't deserve the belt because he paints all over it and plays air guitar with it. He says Hogan will never find it. He says The Outsiders will defend the titles or they will be more naked than the day they were born.
Steve McMichael Vs Steve Regal
McMichael wins with a tombstone piledriver. This was garbage! It's a damn shame someone as talented as Regal gets jobbed out like this.

Gene Okerlund reveals Jeff Jarrett has left WCW. McMichael says he tried to warn Debra about him, but when two snakes get together, one of them is gonna bite the other in the ass. He tells Debra to get back in the kitchen where she belongs. Debra says a dead snake can still bite (wtf?) Debra reveals she has a surprise for McMichael at Halloween Havoc.
Chris Jericho Vs Yuji Nagata (W/Sonny Onoo)
Nagata wins with some submission hold. The way WCW treated Jericho is a complete joke. This is almost as bad as Jericho losing to Fandango at Wrestlemania.

Raven cuts a deep promo inside an infants room.
Bill Goldberg Vs Scotty Riggs
Goldberg wins with the Jackhammer. Goldberg's intensity scares the crap out of me. His spear during this match was sickening. Make that 4-0 for Goldberg. It's weird to see the fans so bored during a Goldberg match.

Tag Team Titles
Scott Hall & Syxx (C) Vs The Steiner Brothers (W/Ted Dibiase)
Kevin Nash is nowhere to be found. Dibiase is so miscast as a face. Scott Hall decks the official, so Larry Zbyszko comes in and counts the three. The Steiner's win the titles. This was a feel good moment and a decent match as well. The Outsiders had the belts for WAY too long.

Dean Malenko Vs Rey Mysterio
Mysterio has the match won, but Eddie Guerrero runs in and snatches Mysterio's mask away to allow Malenko to apply the Texas Cloverleaf and make Rey submit. This was a great match with a great ending. Eddie was such a good heel and it made the Eddie and Mysterio feud more personal.

DDP is at the powerplant. He talks about his match with Randy Savage at Halloween Havoc.
Roddy Piper says The Steiner's ARE the tag team champions and the decision is final, despite Zbyszko not being a referee. Piper says, all hail The Steiner's. He says the nWo doesn't do so good when the odds are even. Eric Bischoff and Randy Savage come storming out. Bischoff says Piper is gonna pay dearly for the felonious assault on Randy Savage. Bischoff says Piper couldn't follow in his slippers. Piper gets ready to fight, but the nWo comes down and surrounds Piper. Sting comes out to help Piper, but it's not Sting at all, It's Hollywood Hogan dressed up as Sting. He attacks Piper, then the nWo beats him down.
Ray Traylor Vs Scott Norton
Norton wins after hitting Traylor with a can of spray paint. Norton is a joke. This whole match stunk to high heavens. I'm not gonna say much more about it.
Disco Inferno (C) Vs Alex Wright
Lovely... just what I wanted to see. Inferno wins by using the tights for leverage. I don't mind Disco, but Alex Wright is horrible. The match was pretty mediocre.

United States Title
Curt Hennig (C) Vs DDP
DDP initially wins the title after Flair distracts Hennig, but the referee changes his mind. Roddy Piper comes out and apparently makes DDP the winner again. The nWo dominates Piper and DDP for a while until literally, tons of fake Stings come out, only to get beat up by the nWo. Finally, the REAL Sting comes out and cleans house.

This was an entertaining show. All those Stings were a bit much, but the real Sting showing up helped rectify things a bit. The Steiner's won, and the show gave WCW some needed momentum. I enjoy the nWo, but sometimes they were FAR too protected.
