In getting ready for her court case, Joy discovers that her hated rival Liberty is really her half sister. Joy and Earl stole Liberty's credit card and ran up her bill years ago, so she's on the list.
This episode seems like its the rare misfire in a series where its almost always excellent. Maybe there's just too much going on in this one as Liberty is not only Joy's half sister, but needs a surrogate mom for her child because she's trying to become a professional wrestler. Randy wants to get involved in wrestling and that seems promising, but doesn't really pay off. Joy, who we're used to seeing be incredibly nasty, has her chance to be sweet in this one, but the trouble is, its just not that funny and the big wrestling bout at the end falls flat.
The only really inspired moment in this episode comes when the Crabman tries to arrange a play date for his turtle and Liberty's boyfriend's lizard.
