22 December 2011 10:18 PM, PST | DreadCentral.com | See recent Dread Central news »

After a lifetime of having to listen to what an amazing actor her brother Al is, Josette Pacino is finally throwing her hat into the performing arts ring to do some acting of her own. She'll be making her debut in the upcoming thriller House of Mirrors playing the world's worst therapist in this mind-screw of a film.

In addition to Pacino, the film features Brian Shotwell (who also directed), Xu Razer (Fragments), Goth rocker Jeremiah Saint, Ashley Hazel, Bb Ingle and Nicole Hughes in this very diverse cast. It revolves around a rich music executive who is being blackmailed for a murder he may or may not have committed.

More on this one as we get it. For now check out the newly released trailer below and visit the official House of Mirrors website.

Filed under: Trailers and Clips, Movie News

Oh that Kate Beckinsale. She started out doing Shakespeare, Jane Austin and Whit Stillman, then segued to the dark side with her signature role as Selene in 'Underworld' and 'Underworld: Evolution,' then tried her hand at serious fare again with 'Fragments' and 'Nothing But the Truth.' Now she's returning to her bloody ways in 'Underworld: Awakening' in which she reprises her role as the superhuman werewolf hunter (Beckinsale skipped the third outing, the prequel 'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans').

In 'Awakening,' Selene comes out of a 12-year-induced coma to find a world in which humans have discovered the truth about vampires and Lycans and are waging an all-out war against them. To make things even more interesting, she finds out that she has a pre-teen daughter somewhere in the world. Naturally, she goes after her daughter, »

Scoop This: Whitaker and Mackie Do Voodoo, Miley Cyrus' God Comedy and Ben Foster Joins The 'Gotti' Family

Whitaker and Mackie Do Voodoo Horror Talk about two careers going in opposite directions. After winning the Best Actor Oscar four years ago, Forest Whitaker has seen a string of misses at the box office including Repo Men and Fragments, though that hasn’t really dampened his job prospects. The talented veteran actor is set to join the cast of Vipaka, a voodoo horror film that Whitaker will also help produce and also play the lead. Conversely, Anthony Mackie’s career continues to rise. Following his star-making turn in Oscar-winner The Hurt Locker a couple years back, Mackie has carved out a mix of indie and blockbuster movies including The Adjustment Bureau earlier this year with Real Steel, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and The Gangster Squad, among his forthcoming high...

Jennifer Hudson is headed back to the big screen, and you'll never guess in which movie. The Oscar- and Grammy-winning singer/actress has been cast as a nun in the Farrelly brothers' long-gestating film "The Three Stooges."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hudson will play one of the nuns in the orphanage where the Stooges spend some time as children alongside "Glee" star Jane Lynch, who has been cast as Mother Superior in the film. Hudson's Sister Rosemary will be among a trio of nuns that reportedly will also include "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star Larry David.

After years of false starts and attempts to reboot the classic eye-poking, head-bonking comedy franchise with stars such as Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro and Jim Carrey, the »

Jennifer Hudson Joins Cast of ‘The Three Stooges’

There’s another nun for the upcoming comedy “The Three Stooges.” Deadline has reported Jennifer Hudson joined the cast as Sister Rosemary. She will be a nun along with actress Jane Lynch (“Glee”), who will play Mother Superior, and Larry David (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”), who is playing Mother Mengele. Hudson hasn’t appeared in anything since 2008. In that year, her films included “The Secret Life of Bees,” “Fragments,” and “Sex and the City.” She won an Oscar for her supporting role in 2006’s “Dreamgirls.” The film also stars Sean Hayes (“Will & Grace,” “Bucket List”), Will Sasso (“MADtv,” “Less than Perfect”), Chris Diamantopoulos (“Under New Management,” “Wedding Daze”), Sofia Vergara (“Modern Family,” “Four Brothers”) and Stephen Collins (“7th Heaven,” “Blood Diamond”). Bobby and Peter Farrelly will direct their own screenplay. The film is currently under production.Source: Deadline »

Jennifer Hudson Gets in the Habit of 'The Three Stooges'

1 June 2011 5:05 PM, PDT | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

There is now one nun for every 'Stooge.'

Jennifer Hudson, the impossibly talented star of "Dreamgirls," will be soon be singing (we hope!) for the orphans as she joins the cast of "The Three Stooges," according to Deadline.

Jennifer will be playing the role of Sister Rosemary, one of the nuns at the orphanage where Larry, Moe and Curly grew up. She joins Jane Lynch as Mother Superior and Larry David as Mother Mengele.

Hmm... could a spin-off called "The Three Nuns" be far behind? Not to be confused, of course, with "The Three Sisters," the stage play by Anton Chekhov. Woo woo woo!

The cast also includes Chris Diamontopoulos (Moe), Sean Hayes (Larry), Will Sasso (Curly), Stephen Collins (the villainous Mr. Harter) and Craig Bierko (the thuggish Mac).

Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar for her performance as Effie White in "Dreamgirls" and has since appeared in "Sex and the City, »

Jennifer Hudson Joins The Nuns In The Three Stooges

1 June 2011 3:20 PM, PDT | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Jennifer Hudson is probably enjoying more pop culture relevance now than she has in a while, the newly svelte spokeswoman for Weight Watchers with a killer Oscar dress to go with it. Her film career, though, has been a lot more random, following up her Oscar-winning role in Dreamgirls with the Sex and the City movie and two indies, The Secret Life of Bees and Fragments. She's still got one more indie coming that could potentially get her back on a lot of radars-- Winnie, the biopic about Nelson Mandela's controversial wife-- but she's also taken a new role in a movie that's guaranteed to be seen. According to Deadline Hudson will play one of the three nuns running an orphanage in The Three Stooges, the Peter and Bobby Farrelly-directed comedy that updates the classic comedy trio. Hudson will join Jane Lynch and, uh, Larry David as the »
