• May : Look how much happier they are.

  Max : All thanks to Togetic.

  [the Togepi one-by-one return to the Mirage Kingdom] 

  Brock : There they go. Back to paradise.

  Princess Sara : I am so grateful.

  Misty : Time for us to say goodbye, Togetic.

  [Togetic flies closer to Misty and starts chattering away, eventually looking up to the kingdom] 

  Misty : You really want to stay?

  [Togetic nods] 

  May : Wonder why?

  Princess Sara : I think Togetic's afraid that if someone evil were to rise up, this could happen all over again.

  [to Togetic] 

  Princess Sara : You want to stay and protect the Togepi?

  [Togetic nods once more] 

  Ash Ketchum : Wow, that's so great.

  Misty : Well, I certainly don't want to see their paradise all gray and wilty again. You know, there's another place that needs your protection too. Don't forget about Sarah, her family, and the Kingdom.

  [Misty and Togetic look at each other with tears in their eyes. Misty begins crying and pulls Togetic closer for an embrace] 

  Misty : [emotional]  Togetic. I love you.

  [Ash and the others watch their embrace, also looking emotional. A moment later, the embrace ends as Misty lets go of Togetic, who begins to fly away] 

  Ash Ketchum : Bye Togetic!

  Misty : Take care!

  [Togetic looks back at Misty one last time before disappearing into the Mirage Kingdom] 

  Misty : [tearing up]  Well, that's that.

  Princess Sara : Misty. I give you my word I will do my best to protect their paradise even without the crown.

  Misty : Thanks, Sarah.
