A Somewhat Biased, But Informaive, Documentary on President Ford
President Gerald Ford is often forgotten among the modern presidents. After Nixon lost everyone's trust, he came in with a specific job: to restore America's trust in the government. For the most part, he succeeded. This documentary, Time and Chance: Gerald Ford's Appointment With History, is a well-made film. Many prominent figures are interviewed, including Vice President Cheney and President Ford himself. The information is presented well, and is very informative. However, the film is biased. Ford is presented as a perfect individual, with very few flaws. I like to be presented with facts and then decide for myself if they were a good person. The bias leans towards the right, but isn't too far that way. I'm glad I watched it, because even if it was a little biased, I have a newfound respect for President Ford. The man was in a tough situation and preformed adequately. I salute you, Mr. President.
