Bret Hart and Fatu had a good match!
11 April 2016 | by (victoria b.c canada) – See all my reviews

Live from NY, NY

Your Hosts are Vince McMahon, Randy Savage & Rob Bartlett

Rob Bartlett impersonates Elvis for the ENTIRE show. Trust me when I say it's one of the most annoying things you'll ever have to endure.

WWF Championship

Bret Hart (C) Vs Fatu (W/Afa & Samu)

Bret retains by making Fatu submit with the Sharpshooter. This is as solid as you can get for an opener. Bret is able to carry anything that moves to a decent match, but Fatu definitely held his own here. Good stuff!

We get a Wrestlemania 9 report with Gene Okerlund.

Crush is in Hawaii. He squashes a coconut to give us an example of what he's gonna do to Doink. That's not cool, brah.

Doink The Clown Vs Koko B. Ware

Doink wins by submission with a stump puller. This was a boring squash match. Koko got in NO offense at all, which is kinda surprising.

Doink smashes a pie in Bartlett's face after the match. I wish he'd have done more than that!

Money INC comes out for an interview. Ted says he thought Hogan was retired and Hogan shocked him by coming to save Beefcake. He reminds Hogan that Hogan's been gone for a year in Hollywood, making movies. He says Hogan's gone soft. He thanks Hogan for ridding them of the overpaid Jimmy Hart. IRS says he and Dibaise are compassionate and caring people, because they care about themselves. Dibiase says Beefcake is the weak link in the Mega Maniacs. He says they'll put the titles on the line at Wrestlemania 9.

Thoughts: Dibiase was terrific, as usual. I.R.S always comes across as wooden to me. I've never liked him as a performer. I disliked this entire feud, though.

"The Narcissist" Lex Luger Vs P.J Walker

Walker is Justin Credible. Luger wins with the bionic forearm. He pins Walker with his pinky finger. Luger was more tolerable as a heel in his tenure with the WWF, but he still sucked (In my opinion)

The Steiner Brothers Vs Duane Gill & Barry Hardy

Some of you may remember Gill as Gillberg. The Steiners win when Scott pins one of them with a frankensteiner. Forget Brock Lesnar! The Steiner's started suplex city!

This episode is completely forgettable, aside from the match between Bret and Fatu. This episode isn't worth a full viewing, but Bret and Fatu is worth a look on YouTube
