Factual errors: In the segment where Carly Simon explains who "You're so Vain" is written about, she discusses the possibilities of it being Mick Jaggar. She tells of how she met Mick, and that she also met Paul McCartney. She says that up to that point, Paul had never met Mick (according to Paul). She has to be recalling this story incorrectly. Consider: The Beatles and the Rolling Stones met as early as 1963, watching each other play, as well as appearing on a few shows together. Lennon and McCartney wrote "I Wanna Be Your Man" at the request of the Stones, in 1963, the Stones' first number 1 hit (also recorded by Ringo with the Beatles). Mick sings back up vocals on "All you Need is Love" and is seen on the film of the performance of this song for the "Our World" broadcast in 1967. Mick sat in the dugout at Shea Stadium with other members of the Stones, to watch the Beatles' concert in 1965. No, Paul and Mick had a relationship of some sort for nearly 10 years prior to Carly Simon's story. moreFAQ

I love urban legends. I think that they are creepy and mysterious. They are also fun to hear about. When I heard that TV Land was going to have a show dedicated to movie and television myths I was obviously very excited. I thought that this would be a very fun television show. It is also an accuse to watch TV Land. Anyway, when this came on my dreams came true. This is just as good as I thought it would be. It had some very famous myths, including my personal favorite, the hung Munchkin.
Here is the basis of the show. It is very simplistic. An infamous myth is told. Then celebrities are interviewed to see their view and opinion of the legend. Some celebrities think that the myth is one hundred percent true, some are really skeptical. Usually in the end of each legend nobody knows if the myth is true or not. It might leave us hanging, but some myths the people point out how the myth can not be true or how it could true. There is usually four myths in each half-hour episode.
Overall, this is a great show to watch. Some myths you have heard, some you have never even thought of. Let me just say this. I have said it in my Wizard of Oz comment and I will say it again, there is no munchkin that is hung on a tree. It is a crane, just a crane. There was no death on the set of the Wizard of Oz, just big birds from the zoo. Anyway, I must say, some of the myths are creepy, but I think you will know the answer to most of the legends. Who cares, though? This is an entertaining show.
10/10
