Jason Momoa talks Aquaman’s look and costume in Justice League

4 hours ago | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

After a brief cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, actor Jason Momoa is set to bring the DC superhero Aquaman to life next month with the release of Justice League, and as we’ve already seen, we’re going to get a very different incarnation of the character to that of the comic books.

Speaking to DC All Access, Momoa has been chatting about Zack Snyder’s vision for Arthur Curry in the DC Extended Universe, as well as the work of costume designer Michael Wilkinson.

“Zack had the idea to put the tattoos everywhere and everyone wanted him to have a little bit of blonde in the hair,” said Momoa. “I just wanted him to have the Van Gogh green-colored eyes, where you can kind of get lost in them. You’re scared by it, but you’re drawn in. We put the contacts in, and I was like, »

Ausiello: Yes, we will see him. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson were cagey about their demon-ish spawn’s identity when I grilled them on stage at New York Comic-Con earlier this month, but the pair were slightly more forthcoming after the panel. Anderson told me the actor (whose name has yet to »

Kit Harington isn't the only Game of Thrones star in Emilia Clarke's group of friends - she's also really close with his fiancée, Rose Leslie. Aside from tagging along with the couple, who met on the set of the hit HBO series, from time to time, the actress has also shared a few adorable moments with Rose over the years. Whether they're goofing off during interviews or looking fierce on the red carpet, they always know how to make each other smile. While we certainly love Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen's chemistry on screen, we would third-wheel with Emilia and Rose any day. As their characters shared some major Pda on screen, the sparks between the two began to develop off screen as well. In fact, Kit's most memorable moments from the show are their scenes together. Maisie Williams and Her Boyfriend Have a Sword-Less Night Out in London

9 hours ago | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams was in fine form on Wednesday night when she hit the red carpet at the Q Awards at the Roundhouse in London. As well as posing up a storm in her striped Kenzo two-piece, she also cuddled up to her date, boyfriend Ollie Jackson, on the steps of the venue. Ollie's only recently begun accompanying Maisie to events (he was also her date to the Got season seven premiere in July), but the pair has been sharing cute photos on Instagram for much longer. They met in school, and although Ollie's not famous, he's definitely got the hang of posing perfectly with his number one girl. Here's hoping this isn't the last we've seen of this adorable pair! Film Review: ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

11 hours ago | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Hey, comicbook fans, it’s another Thor movie, and that can only mean one thing: It’s almost time for another Avengers movie! While you wait, Disney and Marvel Studios hope to loot another half-billion dollars or so from the world’s wallets with this outlandish amuse bouche featuring the God of Thunder and his Abs of Steel, with yet another confusing plot crudely bastardized from Norse mythology in which most of the action takes place on a parallel world you care nothing about.

Like Thor’s two previous solo outings (definite low points in the Marvel oeuvre), this one is pretty much skippable, although it’s not without its pleasures — most notably, the fact that Thor’s not so solo this time around, with cameos/co-starring opportunities for the Hulk, Doctor Strange and a few leftover bits of Tony Stark’s wardrobe (including a retro Duran Duran T-shirt that’s good for a laugh). And while it »

Sophie Turner Covers "Marie Claire"

11 hours ago | SneakPeek | See recent SneakPeek news »

Further to "Game of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner appearing in the August 2017 issue of "Marie Claire" (UK) fashion magazine, Sneak Peek more new images of Turner posing for the November 2017 issue of "Marie Claire" (Us), wearing Louis Vuitton, photographed by Beau Grealy:

"I don't really have a process," said Turner about her acting method.

"I'm very much an in-the-moment actress. I suppose I just kind of wing it because I feel that as long as I know my character, I should be able to be spontaneous on set.

"I learn something new everyday about myself as an actor, my capabilities, how far I can stretch myself, throw out emotions I never knew I had.

"I don't know why - I guess it's my job.

"It's quite nice coming off doing a dark, upsetting scene.

"It's a relief that that's over with, and then you can get back to happy old Sophie. »

The New Golden Age of Studio Science-Fiction is Upon Us

11 hours ago | Indiewire | See recent Indiewire news »

Blade Runner 2049” is going to struggle to make it past the $100 million mark at the domestic box office, hardly the response Warner Bros. was looking for given the film’s estimated $300 million production and marketing budget. In a way, the odds were always against “2049” given that its predecessor was also a financial disappointment and only went on to become a cult classic with a very specific demographic of moviegoers. “Blade Runner” is no multi-generational favorite a la “Star Wars” or “Jurassic Park.”

But while the sequel is a box office dud, it’s unquestionably a huge step in the right direction for studio filmmaking.

‘Springfield of Dreams: The Legend of Homer Simpson’: Morgan Spurlock Documents ‘The Simpsons’ Baseball Legacy — Watch

Twenty-five years ago, back in 1992, Homer Simpson did what was only possible for Homer Simpson, and that was singlehandedly win a big softball game for his power plant team. The Season 3 episode, “Homer at the Bat,” told the story of this tremendous athletic achievement, one which also involved Mlb players like Wade Boggs, Jose Canseco, and Steve Sax in the city of Springfield.

Who doesn’t remember where they were on that fateful day?
