To the Dothraki and most men of the east, Jorah Mormont is known as "Jorah The Andal." Though technically, isn't actually of the Andals. Jorah is of the Northern Kingdom of Westoros; more specifically, from Bear Island which is one of the farther north of the noble houses. His family like the Starks, have mostly the blood of the first Men since they were never conquered by the Andals and did not all breed with them. See more

It begins with the conquest of Westeros by Aegon the Conqueror of House Targaryen, followed by Robert's Rebellion (where the Targaryens are deposed), and ending with the crowning of Robert Baratheon as King of the Seven Kingdoms.
