It's the Summer holidays, Hugh wants to return to Mrs Crabthorne's in Brighton, Terry wants to head to Scotland, to shoot birds.
This was my first ever look at an episode of High and I, I will definitely be watching more, I enjoyed it. Of course it's of its time, but the humour was very good, I particularly liked the scene in the train carriage, plenty of familiar comedy faces, and some wonderfully eccentric characters.
Frank Williams is so funny as the slightly dotty Soldier, so zany, a great precursor to his role in Dad's Army.
Hugh has such a dour tone, Scott is so funny.
Very good, 8/10.
