Underdog!
Plot, photography and music set this polar apart. Besides that, the "minimalist" camera and unusual ending only add up to a pleasant experience. I can't wait for TV5 to air the other episodes. It just doesn't feel like a TV series, it's so... well made!
Schneider is fine. Cruel, smirking when beating a suspect, but honest in principle, he's not your typical US copper, nor a dark, seedy character. Like what they tell him when he's got to release a suspect because of political pressures, "there's rarely black and white". I'm not very convinced by "Alex", thou her eyes are unbelievable pretty.
Dragan is a fearsome madman. Katia is also fine, and of course being very beautiful, her pitiful story only adds up for us (males at least) feeling empathy for her :). Wolf is fine, but his Italian speaking sidekick is even better. Gonzo, Monsieur Pedro... the baddies are convincing and convey a sense of ... utter failure.
Watch it to meet "Schumi", smart cops, nice cars, a French flick that's sleek as the best American one, but chic and cool like probably only the French can.
Enjoy!
