A pretty boring show for the most part

The Fabulous Freebirds Vs The Southern Boys.

The Southern Boys win. This is a textbook example of good old- fashioned tag team wrestling at its finest. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Say what you want about The Southern Boys's gimmick, but they could sure go in the ring.

Mike Rotunda Vs Buddy Landel

Rotunda wins with a backslide. This is a crappy match that was thankfully short. No matter how many times I see it, it's always gonna be weird seeing Rotunda as a face.

* out of 5

Tim Horner & Brad Armstrong Vs The Master Blasters

One of the members of The Master Blasters is Kevin Nash in a red Mohawk with both sides of his head shaved. They look like they haven't bathed in a while The Master Blasters win. This was really ugly to watch. The obvious inexperience of The Master Blasters stuck out like a sore thumb. It was fun to see Nash in such an early role.

½* out of 5

The Nasty Boys Vs Jackie Fulton & Terry Taylor

The Nasty Boys win. I wasn't even aware The Nasty Boys were in WCW at this time. I knew they had a stint in the AWA, but that's it. Anyway, This match was better than I expected, mainly due to the skills of Fulton and Taylor.

** out of 5

Sid Vicious says he deserves a shot at the World Heavyweight title more than anybody else. He says he's coming after Sting next. Sid Vicious rules!

'Wildfire' Tommy Rich Vs 'Wild' Bil Irwin

It's ironic they are both nicknamed wild, yet this match will be anything but wild. Tommy Rich wins in a quick fashion with a Lou Thez press. See, I told you! Nothing to write about on this one. It was just here to fill up some time.

* out of 5

Stan Hansen spills tobacco juice all over his chest. Tony Schiavone is legitimately perturbed. I can't say as I blame him. That's disgusting.

Women's Championship

Susan Sexton (C) Vs Bambi

Sexton wins by reversing a small package. Excuse me while I go watch a Sasha Banks match to make up for this short, but plodding match.

* out of 5

The Steiner Brothers Vs Maximum Overdrive

The Steiner Brothers win. Watch this for The Steiner's. Any match with them is a must watch, simply because they are so entertaining. The way they won the match was ridiculously cool.

**1/4 out of 5

Stan Hansen Vs The Z-Man

Hansen wins with a lariat. The Z-Man got in some offense, but this was mostly all Stan Hansen. It was a good win for Hansen.

*1/4 out of 5

United States Championship

Lex Luger (C) Vs Ric Flair

Luger wins by DQ after Stan Hansen attacks Luger. The crappy inconclusive ending aside, this was a pretty good match. Flair is always able to carry Luger to good matches. Every time they wrestle, they put on a good show.

***1/4 out of 5

World Heavyweight Championship

Sting (C) Vs The Black Scorpion.

Sting wins with a Stinger splash. Sting goes to ummask the Black Scorpion, but the REAL Black Scorpion appears on the ramp and stares down Sting. Sid Vicious attacks Sting during an interview with Sting after the match to end the show. Well, this was an underwhelming main event to say the least. This Black Scorpion had a very basic moveset that was boring to watch. The whole Black Scorpion thing was a mess from the start. It turned out to be Ric Flair.

*1/2 out of 5

This is one of the worst Clash of the Champions without a doubt. There are only two solid matches on the entire show. The rest is either junk or forgettable.
