Quotes

Michelle: Cassie, you remember Sid, right?
Cassie: Yeah, erm, wow, lovely... No. But, I like that you're funny looking, it's cute. Like wow, man.
Tony: How's the treatment going, Cassie?
Cassie: Oh, it's cool. I wear a white dress and now I can eat yoghurt, cup a soup and hazelnuts now. If I'm not sick, they let me play with the cats. Yeah, it's like... hazy days, you know?
Tony: That's encouraging.
Cassie: Oh, thank you! You're so nice.
[She starts to kiss Tony]
Michelle: Cass! Cass!

Disappointingly OTT
2 February 2007 | by (London, England) – See all my reviews

I found this pilot to be rather depressing, it gave out a really bad view of teenagers. Parts of it were cool to watch but other parts were dead boring! The characters weren't very interesting at all, but the acting was variable. Disappointing acting by Nicholas Hoult, but some other people seemed a lot better and I look forward to seeing more of them. I really don't like the view of teenagers this programme sends out, how badly it pretends they ALL behave ALL the time. Probably younger teens will watch it and think they have to behave like that - not good! All the teenagers I have spoken to about the show have agreed it is extremely exaggerated and over the top and it's disappointing that younger children and adults will now get this impression of teenage behaviour.
