Episode cast overview:

Everyone repairs to Billericay where Nessa and Smithy are at it again in the mud and Gavin and Stacey announce that they intend to get married in eight weeks' time, on the anniversary of her father's death. Pam is highly annoyed to learn that the wedding is to take place in Barry, leading to a slanging match with Gwen. Fortunately Bryn provides a voice of reconciliation, pointing out that all that really matters is that the young couple love each other. The mothers make up and prepare for a Welsh wedding. Did You Know?

At the beginning of the series, the scene with Gavin and Bryn at the computer reveals the Shipmans' address to be 17 Lime Tree Avenue. However, when Bryn is typing the address into the Sat-Nav before going to the engagement party in, he types in '21 Lime Tree Avenue'. See more »

Nessa: Alright, Stace, what's occurring?
Stacey: I need your advice, I do.
Nessa: Go for it.
Stacey: Should I tell Gav about the other engagements? Or should I just leave it? Thing is, things are going so lush, if I tell him it might just wreck everything. And it's not that big a deal, is it?
Nessa: That depends. This reminds me of a very similar situation I was in with my second huband, Clive. I was faced with a dilemma, whether to lie, or not to lie, and I chose to tell the truth.
Stacey: And what happened?
Nessa: He died. Firing squad. ...

She's done it again!!

Now that Gavin & Stacey are engaged, Gavin's family wishes to throw a party for both families to celebrate. Bryn is against this at first, but quickly relents when it's pointed out that it'd give him a chance to try out his new GPS. Meanwhile Smithy is dead-set against it and Pam is freaking out about the party.

I found this to be a splendid episode. Once again Bryn stole the show with his banter that I find hilarious. The vegetarian debacle was equally amusing. And of course the ending scene with a blow-up after another dropped bombshell was amazing as well. All in all another brilliant episode of a stellar series.
